I was interviewed by the very nice Dr Sue. Said the picture came out so good she's going to use it for her news letter.
Here's a link to her site. I'll let you know when the interview is posted.

In the maze of life, the French Turtle asks the Laughing Pig a tough question.
It looks like it hurts the Pig's brain. Its a question that has hurt mine from time to time.
This is based on a dream I had.

They sit silently. What do they dream?
The Stone People, always listening
Listening to the sounds of the world
Waiting for the signals
Dreaming what into existance?
Stone People, watch over my soul.

Check out Fred's latest art exhibit - Star Portraits, a cast of Kluth characters - at Star Bar, Thursday, February 8, 2007 .
Come and enjoy a star-studded Kluth special, featuring Circle Boy and Circle Girl. Shake off your working-man blues with Happy Hour specials and celebrate the official grand opening of our favorite new local bar with us.
Star Bar is just 1 block from the Grove Street path train station (for those of you who've not made the adverturous leap across the Hudson River, that's just about 5 minutes by train or car from anywhere below 14th street in Manhattan).
Looking forward to visiting with you all. Hope you can join us and support Fred's creative work.
Click here detailed directions and maps
PS: If you want a good place to have dinner in the area before or after visiting with us at Star Bar, check out the Tea Kluthstyle exhibit currently up at Sushi Tango.

Today's supercool video comes to us from my ol' hipster friend Andrew Jackson. Andrew is a great film director (you can see his work here "NUDE MAID"). He sends us this incredible video from The Rapture.
It is a PUNK ROCK flyer come to life... with a Duck headed monster! (click to see the video)

I just ran into an old friend of mine from College, Jonathon Cross. He's an amazingly talented puppeteer and creator. Check out his site. I'll post something next time he has a show going on.

I am happy to report that as of yesterday the Mr Kluth List Server is up and running! What does that mean, you might ask. It allows us to generate a newsletter and keep everyone updated about All Things Kluth.
Its a great way to find out about new cartoons, new products, new art, gallery shows and other events that are Kluth related.
What? You don't think you can handle the Kluth? Well, c'mon, give it a go! What could possible go wrong?

Everyone should go to the MOMA and check out the Klee exhibit. They have a nice presentation of his work on the 5th floor. I went over the Holidays with my family. It was great. We got there early and headed up to see it immediately. I had a good 20 minutes, before the crowds came, and got to really take in his work. In this one my nephew and I wondered about the arrow from the fish to the man's nose. There also seems to be a smile on the fish's face. Is there a story there?

This week I have been working on layouts and designs for a new book. As I was trying to figure out some color schemes I realized what I needed was a painting on the wall of the room. The colors reminded me of Matisse. So, I googled Mr Matisse and fell in love with his work once again.
I always find it amazing that there are some artists that speak to me through the ages. And some at different times. I was really into the modern artists in College. I spent a semester in Europe and while most of the other students were learning about Renaissance Art... I went all over checking France, Germany and Austria searching out the Modern Artists. Of course, I was told that this was a "phase" and as I got older I would appreciate the classics more.
Well, I am older now, and like an old friend, the Moderns have come back to me and its as if a day hasn't passed.
